| Bradford Shotokan Academy has been established for over 35 years, led by 7th Dan Sensei Fred Fawcett a National and International champion, Winner of European Gold Medal. Sensei Fawcett has inspired and trained many students who have gone on to win titles at local, regional, national and international levels. The most recent have been success at the “All of England Championships”, the “FEKO National Championships”, JSKA Great Britain National Championships, UMA English Open Junior and Cadets Karate Championships and international events such at the “Polish Grand Prix”. |
| We cater for all levels and the club has many family members who enjoy training together. We cover all aspects of karate, and look to develop all our students to their maximum potential. The club competes at tournaments locally, nationally and internationally, and we have a very successful squad, as the club offers expert coaching for those who are interested in competing. Our instructors as well as holding nationally recognised coaching qualifications are CRB checked, and hold first aid qualifications. Your first lesson will consist of a light warm-up and then some basic exercises that will help to begin to learn the fundamental techniques that are needed for karate. |
